HOW?

Do you have an expertise in a particular industry cluster: technology, manufacturing, service, retail, etc or in a particular business background such as marketing, finance or production?

Our companies at Murata are always seeking knowledgeable, experienced and resourceful mentors and advisors.

Our Advisory Board is always seeking experienced business leaders who are either entrepreneurs or owners of small businesses.

WHAT IS INVOLVED?

Business advisors assigned to particular companies would meet quarterly for several hours to discuss the development of that particular business.  There would be a need to be available by phone for questions in the interim.  Your background experience and contacts would act as a resource in the growth of this business.

Advisory Board members meet monthly (second Thursday of the month) at 8 am at Murata for 1.5 hours.  Assignment to a committee which may meet quarterly or on an as needed basis is essential.  You would also be assigned to be a mentor to a particular company at Murata (visiting them after the board meeting, or a stop by at any convenient time) and serve on the client committee when we review that particular company's lease and business plan during the first quarter of the year.

HOW ELSE CAN I ASSIST?

 The Murata Business Center operates at a yearly funded deficit from the Harrisburg Regional Chamber and CREDC.  WE HAVE NAMING OPPORTUNITIES. 

Consider:

• Sponsoring our Speakers Series program and have your company gain recognition;

• Become a Murata Sponsor and name a room after your company.  When clients browse our web site, your company name and link to your web site will be available.
